For bug reports, questions and requests, please use the form below. Prime Press is developed by one person, so replies may take a while, but every message is read.
For bug reports, it helps to include your device (e.g. iPhone 15), iOS version, app version (shown on the App Store page for Prime Press), and which study (or Endless) you were playing and what you were doing when it happened.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I play?
- Drag a block from your hand onto the board. Each cell of the block divides the number under it when it can, and a number that reaches 1 clears. The ringed "core" cell must divide the number under it. Tap a block to rotate it. "How to play" on the title screen explains the rules too.
- What is a foul?
- Dropping a block where its core can't divide the number underneath is a foul. In studies the block simply returns to your hand and nothing is lost. In Endless your hands are tied for about 2.5 seconds.
- I can't solve a study.
- Every study is built to be cleared with the blocks you're given, and you don't have to use them all. Undo takes back one move at a time, and Restart in the pause menu starts the study over.
- What are tickets?
- Tickets are used to play: 1 for a study and 2 for an Endless run, paid when it starts. Restarting a study you've paid for is free until you clear it.
- I've run out of tickets.
- The first time you open the app each day, tickets below 5 go back up to 5. To play right away, watch an ad for 5 more tickets (up to 30).
- I watched an ad but got no tickets.
- Tickets are added only when the ad is watched to the end. Depending on your connection, an ad may not be available; please try again a little later.
- I was asked to "Allow tracking".
- This prompt is for Google AdMob, which serves the ads, to show ads tailored to your interests. Ads are still shown and tickets still granted if you don't allow it (the ads just won't be tailored). You can change this at any time under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on iOS. See the privacy policy for details.
- I was asked about consent for ads.
- This is Google's consent screen, shown only in regions where the law requires consent, such as the European Economic Area and the UK. You can review your choices under Settings > Ads > Privacy choices in the app.
- Can I continue a play I stopped?
- Choose Suspend in the pause menu to return to the title screen; Resume there picks it up again. Endless runs restart with a 3-2-1 countdown.
- Are there rankings or achievements?
- When you are signed in to Game Center, there is a weekly Endless ranking (reset every Monday at 00:00 Japan time) and achievements for solving 10, 50 and 100 studies. Open them from Game Center in Settings, or from Weekly ranking after an Endless run. They are hidden when you are not signed in; sign in under Settings > Game Center on iOS.
- Where is my progress saved?
- Only on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. This means deleting the app also deletes your progress, and progress can't be transferred to another device.
- How do I reset my progress?
- There is no reset option in the app. To start over, delete the app and install it again. All records, including tickets, will be removed.
- There's no sound.
- Check that silent mode isn't on and that the volume is up. Sound effects can also be toggled in the app's settings screen.
- How do I change the language or colors?
- Open Settings on the title screen to switch between 日本語 and English, and between light, dark and system themes.
- Which devices are supported?
- iPhone running iOS 15 or later, and iPad running iPadOS 15 or later.
